About Crossbridge Power

An energy company that moved into power — not the other way round.

Most distributed generation companies start with turbines and go looking for fuel. We started with a refinery and went looking for load. That order of operations is the whole difference.

Who We Are

Molecules and electrons, under one operator.

Crossbridge Power develops, owns and operates distributed generation for customers who need power before the grid can supply it. What distinguishes us is not the generation — plenty of firms can install a turbine — it is that we produce the fuel that runs it.

Our energy business operates the refinery at Fredericia in Denmark, supplying more than 35% of Danish liquid fuel consumption to ships, aircraft, cars and trucks. It is one of the world's most energy-efficient refineries and Denmark's largest supplier of surplus heat to district heating.

That position lets us do something a pure power developer structurally cannot: start a customer on a clean liquid fuel in weeks, move them down the fuel ladder as gas becomes available, and carry the fuel risk ourselves at every rung.

What We Believe

Four positions that shape every project we take.

POSITION 01

Speed is non-negotiable

But not at any cost

If we cannot match the schedule a diesel rental would hit, we have not solved the customer's problem. Speed is the entry ticket, not the differentiator.

POSITION 02

Diesel is a decision, not a default

Bridge fuel from hour one

The fuel you start on determines your permit envelope, your emissions line and your cost base for years. It should be an engineering decision, not the residue of a procurement deadline.

POSITION 03

The bridge must have a far side

Contracted, not hoped for

A bridge arrangement without a contracted conversion is just an expensive rental. The step to gas belongs in the original agreement, with a pre-agreed price.

POSITION 04

Own the fuel or own the excuse

We refine it ourselves

When fuel supply is a third-party relationship, a supply problem becomes a commercial dispute. We would rather it be an internal dispatch decision.

Responsibility

We will not oversell the emissions story.

Gas and low-carbon liquid fuels are not zero-carbon, and we will not present them that way. What they are is materially better than the diesel the market currently defaults to, available on the timeline customers actually have, and a genuine step towards a cleaner destination rather than a dead end.

Our energy business has been explicit about this for years: as a significant Danish emitter it acknowledges its role, and it works on partnerships across the value chain — including sourcing renewable hydrogen through HySynergy with Everfuel — rather than claiming the problem is already solved.

What The Bridge Actually Delivers

  • It does displace diesel at sites with no better option
  • It does avoid the embedded emissions of new transmission build
  • It does recover heat where a thermal load exists
  • It does accept RNG and biofuels in the same infrastructure
  • It is not zero-carbon, and we will say so in the room
  • It is not the right answer where firm clean supply already exists on your timeline

Work with us.

Whether you are evaluating on-site generation for the first time or replacing a provider that did not deliver, we will give you a straight answer on whether we are the right fit.
